Karol Nawrocki, president of the Institute of National Memory, was announced as a presidential candidate for Law and Justice. His election was to be preceded by a survey to check the chances of a candidate winning in the second circular of elections.

The first interesting poll on Nawrock was created by the IBRiS studio for Radio Zet. It was conducted on 6 and 7 December at a example of 1071 people. It shows, among others, that 69.7% of respondents respect the president of the IPN as a candidate of the Law and Justice and 16.6% consider him a citizen candidate. Among the organization supporters forming the current government coalition, no 1 indicated that Karol Nawrocki was a "civil candidate". As many as 92% of them believe that the applicant for the office of president of Poland, the president of the IPN, is simply a candidate of the Law and Justice and 8% chose the option "I don't know / hard to say".
Also among the voters of Law and Justice, there is no unanimity on the civic character of the candidacy of Karol Nawrocki. According to 42% of them, Nawrocki is simply a citizen candidate, but 47% consider him a PiS candidate.
The PiS will resign from Nawrocki?
Another interesting survey was conducted by SW investigation Agency for the Republic of Poland on 3 and 4 December. According to him, 34.1% of respondents believe that PiS will not retreat support for Nawrocki, while 39.6% point to this possibility.
11.2% of respondents pointed out Mateusz Morawiecki as a possible substitute, and 8.1% sees Przemysław Czarnek in this role. Mariusz Błaszczak (4.7%) and Tobias Bocheński (4.2%) were besides listed as possible candidates. 11.4% indicated the consequence "other person", and 26.2% did not have an opinion on this.
PiS candidate election program
