The start of deliveries of the first 4 vehicles of medical evacuation (out of a full of 10 specified vehicles declared) took place in mid-June. They were then loaded onto a ship and sent to Europe, where Ukrainian crews and most likely method personnel will be trained. A full of 50 vehicles are to be delivered to Ukraine built on the LAV 6.0 ACSV platform, as announced by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last September during the visit of the president of Ukraine. To this end, Ottawa was to allocate $650 million to the production of vehicles, which is expected to take a full of 3 years.
