Information about plans for [opening a production plant in Ukraine vehicles of the Senator household appeared in May last year](https://defence24.pl/industrial/Canadian-export-success-by-produced-on-Ukraine). At the end of February, an agreement was announced between Canadian company Roshel Smart Armored Vehicles and Ukrainian company Ukroboronprom to open a common production line for these vehicles. This line was to be primarily liable for producing Senator vehicles in the mino-resistant version (MRAP), which is the most common in the Ukrainian army.
