We are entering possibly the last political period of 2 giants of Polish politics – Jarosław Kaczyński and Donald Tusk, so for the next year we will be watching political Last Dance in Polish.
Everyone unambiguously and rather authoritatively speaks about the situation on the line Jarosław Kaczyński – Mateusz Morawiecki, as if they have no uncertainty about what, how, and what will be at the end. I do not know whether the dispute is real or artificially created, whether we will have a break-up of the Law and Justice in the final, or whether the quarreled will fall into arms and make a coalition and a government together. I do not know all this, but, drawing from the wisdom of the Gospel according to St Matthew (not this), I can only say "by the fruits of them you will know," and fruits will most likely appear in a year.
Polish Last Dance will most likely have its actual playwriting. For Kaczyński, the next elections will most likely be the last chance to return to power and implement its political project. For Tusk they will be an chance to consolidate power, format Poland for the next decade or two, or possibly besides to think about its political individual succession, to which he never had a head.
