According to a summertime poll survey, given around 2 p.m. (19 May), Rafał Trzaskowski obtained 31.2% of the vote. His biggest rival, Karol Nawrocki was to gain 29.7%.
– Only 40% for government candidates, and even if you add Adrian Zandberg to that, it will inactive be a clear minority. The marshal said that this is simply a yellow card for the coalition; this is simply a red card," said Jarosław Kaczyński, and he referred to Simon Holownia's earlier statement.
Kaczyński was besides asked whether he would appeal to Sławomir Mentzen to support Nawrocki in the second round. As he said, "he thinks there will come a time to talk, but it depends on both sides."
