Jarosław Kaczyński announced his willingness to cooperate with the Confederation. Together with his party, however, the president of the Law and Justice Office sets conditions – the alleged “Polish Declaration”. The 10 postulates contained in it are aimed at "preventing the dangers of losing Poland's sovereignty and independence". The paper is to mention to the alleged "Torrun Declaration" which president Elekt Karol Nawrocki signed after an interview with Sławomir Mentzen before the 2nd circular of the May presidential election.
"If any political forces say that they can date both us and the Civic Platform, they say that they do not truly want to change the strategy in Poland, they do not want to reject post-communism, they do not want Poland to conduct a policy that is truly in the interests of our country," said Jarosław Kaczyński.
The president of Law and Justice has expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Confederation. He stressed that "no 1 is accusing" but needs clarity about the intention of a right-wing coalition due to the fact that "many specified declarations have already been heard."
Kaczyński and PiS developed 10 points-conditions that the Confederation would gotta fulfil in order to cooperate:
Not for the coalition with Tusk and his men,
Not for cooperation with Putinian Russia,
For an alliance with the United States,
Not for illegal immigration, for deportation,
Not for the centralisation of the European Union,
Not for the euro in Poland, for sovereignty and freedom,
Firstly Poland, first Poles,
Not for ideology in education,
For energy sovereignty,
Living by law, not by merchandise.
"I repeat, we address the Confederacy. I remind you that president Nawrocki has signed the Toruń Declaration, although it is not easy for us at all point, and in this case it is simply a substance of signing this declaration by our fellow Confederates," Kaczyński said.
He added that he was open to the signing of the declaration besides by another groups, but put the Confederacy first, due to the fact that "her case is most crucial today".
"Torun Declaration". In May, Nawrocki signed a list of postulates by Sławomir Mentzen
Let us remind that on 22 May of that year, Karol Nawrocki signed before the 2nd circular of presidential elections the alleged “Torun Declaration” of Sławomir Mentzen, which was to “make the Confederate's sympathies easier” to choose between Nawrock and Trzaskowski. Trzaskowski did not decide to sign the document, despite the fact that – as he claimed – he agreed with any points.
In the “Torrun Declaration”, Nawrocki agreed to meet all of the following commitments:
I will not sign any bill that raises existing taxes, contributions, fees or introduces fresh fiscal burdens.
I will not sign any law limiting the cash turnover and I will stand watch over Polish gold,
I will not sign any law limiting freedom of expression in accordance with the Polish Constitution.
I will not let Polish soldiers to be sent to Ukraine.
I will not sign the Act on ratification of Ukraine's accession to NATO.
I will not sign any law limiting Poles' access to weapons.
I will not agree to transfer any powers of the authorities of the Republic of Poland to the bodies of the European Union.
I will not sign ratification of any fresh EU treaties weakening Poland's role, e.g. by weakening the vote or taking distant the right of veto.
