Kaczyński versus Nawrocki. Who will become the right-wing hegemon?

– Joanna Miziołek, a professional and mostly well-informed journalist, stated that she received information related to Donald Tusk's gathering with close colleagues, during which the Prime Minister was to say that next year's elections were already lost, as the trend of expanding support for the right hand cannot be stopped.

– I do not believe Tusk would say this at a gathering where there would be more than 3 – 4 people, as this would mean political suicide. That's not what an experienced politician does. Even if he thinks that the elections are unwinnable, he could only say it in the ellipse of most trusted colleagues – specified as Paweł Graś or Maciej Berek – and I do not think that Mrs Miziołek has access to specified information. I think it's any fairy tale, which, however, is based on the polls. All of them have been indicating for respective months that the 2023 script will be repeated, only this time in the lead function with the Civic Coalition. The KO will get the most tickets, but it will not be able to form a coalition to have a majority in the Sejm. And the broad right has a chance to take power. If that happens next year, nobody knows. But the trend is unfavorable for Tusk and from his point of view things are going in a worse direction.
