From the editorial board: We did not initially intend to give more publicity to the polemics between Magdalena Ziętek-Wielemska and Adam Wielomski and Konrad Gęsce and Przemysław Piasta, although we published in the paper edition a comprehensive text by Mrs Wielomska (No. 1-2/2023) and an answer by Przemysław Piasta.

Since the arguments of both parties have already been clearly outlined, we have decided not to proceed this discussion. This is another comprehensive text by Mrs. Wielomska, full of not only substantive arguments, but besides offensive wordings, megalomanic bloatings (recognition as "last endeks"), innuendos and conspiracy theories, which are not suitable for discussion and the polemics of Prof. Adam Wielomski with Przemysław Piasta. However, due to the fact that our erstwhile publicists began to spread their thoughts on the net – on second thought we decided to print the text of Prof. Wielomski together with the text of Przemysław Piasta. For example, due to the fruitful, long-term cooperation so far.

We admit that we should give the level to Prof. Wielomski immediately. However, we do not intend, due to the level, to disseminate Mrs Wielomska's text, for the reasons already stated. We note that the decision to halt publishing in our pages was made by the Wielomski State itself, not us. We do not enter into what the actual motives of this decision are, although we can guess. Who's the real endek?

With a certain amount of amuse, I was looking at the polemic which, in the pages of our weekly magazine, the Wielomskis (sympathetic people) fought with no little sympathetic editor Konrad Węsem.

The subject of these intellectual struggles was the work of Alexander Dugin, so the subject was not peculiarly interesting to me. My pen was breaking into a polemic. To the ruthless and methodical scoring and ridicule of subsequent adversaries arguments. But I stopped in half a word. due to the fact that I realized I was actually feeling... jealous. I would like to go back a fewer decades and be a young man again who read Dmowski's first books with baking on his face, starting the most beautiful of intellectual adventures. How much religion there was in me back then. How assured that I have reached the truth. That I know all the answers, of course, far more, better and more truly than anyone else. It is this freshness, this unwavering certainty of my reason that I envy Magdalena Ziętek-Welomska.

Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever. After the first euphoria comes critical reflection. The clear black and white planet takes on half a shadow and gray. Even those from the writings, which to this day undoubtedly constitute the foundation of our perception of the essence of the nation and its interest, we begin to perceive in a circumstantial context: historical, political and even personal. Simple answers begin to appear to be truisms. We place more complex answers on them. Good. If being an adept of the school of Dmowski were to be reduced to the literal duplication of the hundred-year-old master, it would be intellectually completely idle. Then Mr. Roman's best pupil would not be, contrary to his own belief, Magdalena Ziętek-Welomska, and any photocopier.

At the end of this short discussion, 1 more reflection. Ms Magdalena Ziętek-Wielomska puts herself together with her spouse in the function of "last endeks". She's not the first. Rafał Ziemkiewicz announced his last endek. An operetta, self-proclaimed “Colonel” Wasiak is besides considered one. And many other, sometimes funny, sometimes sad and most frequently grotesque, usurpator successors of Dmowski. Although everyone is the smith of their fate, it would be simply sad to see the Wielomese matrimony as well.

Katechon, Dugin and I

In the last issue of “The Polish Thoughts” col. Przemysław Piasta – who is otherwise privately sympathetic – wrote the text “Who is the actual endeek?” in the presumption that he would be a polemic with the text of my wife Magdalene and her criticism of the “dugination” of the magazine, and who besides became a polemic with me.

Well, col. Przemysław Piasta suggests that it is hard to cut my name off from the figure of Alexander Dugin, because, if I realize correctly, I was to borrow from him the thought of Katechon to give him Vladimir Putin. Well, definitely not! It's not from Dugin! Katechon and I and Dugin came from the same author, Carl Schmitt. I have described this problem a long time ago, namely in my book entitled – nomen omen – “In search of Katechon. Political Theology of Carl Schmitt” (Radzimin 2017) and only later did I learn that a Russian ideologist was utilizing it. As far as I know the thought of the Russian ideologist of imperialism, our concept of Katechon is not identical either. Raised in the Orthodox tradition, Dugin draws them not only from Schmitt, but besides from the Byzantine tradition, where the emperor defending Byzantium by the Arabs and then the Turks was portrayed as Katechona. In this tradition it is so clearly affirmative and so it seems to realize this Russian. In my close Western tradition, based on the explanation of Daniel's Prophecy and the mention of the Roman Empire, Katechon is besides a defender of the planet against the Antichrist – identified with a revolution or a fall of the state – but is at the same time a little sympathetic authoritarian leader, a bloody dictator. It is not by chance that Schmitt, in the years of planet War II, recognized Adolf Hitler, who was to defend his people from Stalin, the Red Army and the coming of the apocalypse of Bolshevikism by spilling oceans of blood and committing many war crimes and on civilians. Unfortunately, this is not only my individual doubt, due to the fact that for a long time I have heard from conventional and long-standing readers of “Polish Thoughts” complaining about the duginist and excessively left-wing direction at the same time dominant in the writings. The villains call the writing “Piskarski’s Thoughts”, suggesting that Dr. Matthew Piskorski’s entry into its cracks caused a change of line in the imperial direction on the 1 hand and the left. Without getting active in specified detailed analyses of the individual causes of this metamorphosis – due to the fact that I do not mean to bring ideas to individual ones – it is adequate to confirm that I besides see them. And I don't accept her. I am besides tired of asking readers what happened, and why is this happening? I can't answer them due to the fact that I don't know.

I was besides bored to assure people that even though I published in the pages of “Polish Thoughts”, I am not a duginist, I do not support aggression against Ukraine, which Dugin praises, etc. To be honest, I consider Alexander Dugin a political radical, an extremist, and I do not want to be associated with him very much, especially since I completely disagree with him in almost everything, but criticism of the ideology of globalism, but which I make from completely different positions (national, Catholic and Latin). For this reason, while being kind to the writing itself, I made a decision to halt moving the permanent column I had been moving for many years since fresh Year 2023.
