War lasts over a year. Spontaneous actions and heart reflexes are no longer enough. We must work on solutions that support refugees in the long word and give them the chance to function in Poland. No substance erstwhile they can get back together. Of course, women, frequently with children, dominate Ukrainian refugees from last year. They require a circumstantial approach in support of the household situation, language and cultural barriers. There are very limited opportunities to take up employment in the profession that has previously been pursued.
That is why last year I started the task “Ukraine in Poland” utilizing the support of many institutions and people of good will. The aim of this task is to educate Ukrainians, which will let them to take up professional challenges in Poland. Experience has shown that refugees very much want to work and run business. They very much appreciate the support of Poland, but want to contribute to its improvement and support their families. For me, the past year is dozens of educational, information and educational activities. The needs are, of course, much greater, but all affirmative communicative of uncovering oneself in a fresh reality gives large satisfaction and feeling that the task “Ukraine in Poland” has a deep sense.
Living in a fresh country is simply a request to learn about its rules so as to decision smoothly between offices, schools, wellness facilities. It is besides regular activities, specified as the usage of various services and shopping. In particular, the second issues, as they cover hundreds of thousands of activities a day in shops and service outlets, require a wide awareness of Ukrainians' rights and obligations as consumers. Additionally, online purchases, financial and insurance services are added. Ukrainians as consumers must be informed how to return the goods, advertise defective product or quit unwanted service. The rules in this respect disagree in Ukraine from those in Poland. Many Polish consumers besides do not know their rights and are victims of abuse of their trust and sometimes even fraud. All the more reason for the Ukrainians.
The case requires a very reliable approach and systemic action. Therefore, a detailed study was prepared on this issue based on investigation among Ukrainians. They show that their consumer awareness requires a very crucial reinforcement, based simply on cognition of their rights. So that they know what to do and erstwhile to do in a hard situation and to whom to turn.
It should be stressed that the study does not show that Ukrainians in Poland are experiencing peculiarly negative purchasing situations. The authors point out that Polish entrepreneurs did not effort to exploit the hard situation and empathize and approach refugees from Ukraine.
“Ukraine in Poland” will take educational and information actions aimed at Ukrainian consumers. A year of experience gives you the ability to successfully scope the right message. Nevertheless, much depends on Polish authorities and various organisations protecting consumer rights. specified projects produce results erstwhile they are not a one-off action but are based on long-term measures and resources. "Ukraine in Poland" is ready to be a long-term partner with this approach.
Wyrafrog to thank everyone who took up this crucial substance and prepared the study and its presentation. It is very crucial to scope broad public with the report. specified actions strengthen Polish-Ukrainian relationship and service the goodaupublic.
