photo. confederation.pl/Shortly after the announcement of the results of the 1st circular of the presidential election, the Confederate candidate announced that he would "help his voters" decide who to vote for in the 2nd round. In spite of the expectations of PiS and PO politicians Sławomir Mentzen did not "give" his votes either to Karol Nawrock or Rafał Trzaskowski. Instead, he invited them to talk on his YouTube channel, where he will ask them the questions of the Confederate voters. It besides requires both of them to sign an eight-point program declaration, which includes, among another things, a pledge not to sign any bill that raises taxes, defends Polish gold and access to cash. The candidate with the support of PiS almost immediately agreed to execute with Mentzen. Rafal Trzaskowski's answer has just arrived.
In little than 2 weeks – 1 June – there will be a second circular of presidential elections, in which Rafał Trzaskowski (PO) and Karol Nawrocki (supported by the Law and Justice). Sławomir Mentzen failed to enter the second round, but the Confederate candidate achieved a very good consequence – 14.81 percent. He was voted by nearly 3 million voters, with whom the winners of the I circular gotta number if they want to win besides in the II round.
Unlike Magdalena Biejat (Levice) and Simon Holown (Third Road), Mentzen did not give his support immediately and will not do it for free – if he decides to support 1 of the candidates at all. Confederate co-leader invited both to a live interview on his YouTube channel. He besides wants Nawrocki and Trzaskowski to sign the programme declaration.
The declaration includes, among another things, a pledge not to sign laws, which introduce fresh taxes and fees, protection of cash turnover, defence of Polish gold (i.e. opposition to the introduction of the euro in Poland) and protection of access to arms for Poles and the anticipation for citizens to express their views freely, in accordance with the Constitution of the Polish Republic (referring to the law on "talk of hatred").
Nawrocks will appear on the YouTube channel Sławomir Mentzen. Trzaskowski accepted the invitation, but subject to
Karol Nawrocki declared his willingness to talk to Sławomir Mentzen almost immediately. It was longer to wait for a clear declaration by Rafał Trzaskowski, who stated that he had "another 11 days". But the answer came on the same day.
“Yes, Mr Sławomir. I will come, we will talk," said Trzaskowski during a gathering with voters in Sosnowiec. At the same time, he warned that he did not warrant the signing of the programme declaration.
