On the Polish market, the fresh JBL Grip wireless talker debuts.
The device combines 3 key features: reinforced, resilient design, sound quality supported by AI algorithms and built-in ambient lighting. The talker was valued at PLN 429.
One of the main advantages of the fresh model is its strength. The talker has an IP68 opposition certificate, meaning it is full waterproof and dustproof. The maker besides declares that the plan is resistant to falls and will withstand a collision with concrete from a tallness of 1 metre. It is worth adding that the talker housing was made of plastic and recycled fabric, and the packaging is FSC certified and printed with soy ink.
The sound emanation is driven by a 43 x 80 mm wideband converter and 16 W RMS. For sound quality, referred to as JBL Pro Sound, a fresh AI Sound Boost feature is responsible. It uses a peculiar algorithm to analyse the music played in real time, which aims to optimize volume and minimize distortion. Further personalization of the sound allows the JBL Portable application, which offers a 7-band graphic proofreader.
The rear panel of the talker features integrated ambient lighting with different motifs and colour options. Light modes can be changed utilizing a button on the housing or more precisely adjusted in the mobile application. An interesting feature is the Auracast technology, which allows you to wirelessly connect 2 JBL Grip speakers to get stereo sound or pair more another speakers compatible with this standard.
A built-in lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 10.01 Wh allows you to play music up to 12 hours on 1 charge. The talker besides features Playtime Boost, which extends this time by an additional 2 hours, giving a full of up to 14 hours of work. The full battery charge takes 3 hours. The device communicates with Bluetooth 5.4 standard. Its dimensions are 64 x 152.5 x 65.2 mm and its weight is 0.385 kg.
