The year 2023 came and the electoral calendar began with it. We have another marketplace for vanity and empty promises.
The candidates will not be asked about the programs, but they will all be debating what we can inactive support our “soccers”. People conscious who carefully observe our Polish reality must agree with the thesis Wiesław Walendzika Many years ago. This thesis on the political scene in Poland: “The policy that voters see is like Chinese shadow theatre. It does small to what is truly happening in the economy and in large social processes. The most crucial decisions fall outside the Sejm and even the government. The Sejm is simply a place of loud and upsetting disputes – but only theatre.”
Polish politics is frequently not only a shadow theatre but an average provincial circus, in which a small demanding audience has fun, actors are mediocre but well-paid, and the owner of the full is simply a abroad sly. It is the owner who decides which monkey and at what point he is to appear on stage. It's not worth playing in this circus, due to the fact that fame is momentary here, falling always painfully, and grey reputation is not easy to fix.
I'm not curious in taking part in elections or in campaigning. The widely understood success in politics is the number of jobs and mandates acquired by a given formation at all possible levels of always more extended administration. Have MPs, senators, ministers, deputy ministers, governors, marshals, councillors, advisers, committee heads and, above all, members of supervisory boards. The competence of these candidates and the real impact on decisions taken, i.e. the sense of action for the Polish people, do not matter. It is crucial to gain money, to supply jobs for relatives and friends, and to be able to grovel in the media. Just due to the fact that I'm not curious in the election run doesn't mean I'm not curious in the political success of our camp. Work for this success all day overcoming your own weaknesses.
We request to take into account circumstances that may unexpectedly give us a chance at a more sovereign state. present geopolitical processes and through them interior processes take place faster and more unexpectedly than ever. We should be ready. We request the right attitude for that. What attitude should you choose? Last time I read an old line from a friend Boguslawa Jeznacha concerning doctoral thesis Karol Wojtyla. The author writing about the doctoral work of the later pope cited an example of the 4 attitudes described. The first 2 are devastating. Another 2 upbuilding and mostly beneficial. The first must be fought and the second supported.
The first attitude is conformism“ I will think and act like most people around me. I won't effort to be different from the others. In everything, I will be in line with what I am expected to do.” rather often, people do not even think that this is an highly bad attitude, they see themselves as modest and socially fit, who do not want to exalt themselves or get in the way of others. But as a consequence of this attitude, large and having access to common media make a reality incompatible with normality. It is through this attitude that sick fashions are born, snobbism flourishes, people support processes incomprehensible to themselves and the results of various voting are matched to earlier polls. Each of us partially succumbs to this soft panic of conformism and each of us can measure how much of this attitude is around us.
The second is the attitude of laziness and Avoidance. "My hut always stands with countries what concerns others. He watches his own, and I don't care about the destiny of others. erstwhile I see something bad. I'll be quiet and out of the way." Many of us here besides justify waiting for others: I am not a prominent person, so I will not exposure myself. I can't change the world. I'm not gonna get distant due to the fact that they're gonna think I'm crazy. I'll wait until they act better and smarter than me. It is due to this moral attitude, however, that the moral mediocrity creates attitudes of our fellow countrymen and transforms the planet into an unacceptable moral direction. all man is simply a small lazy, and almost everyone knows how hard it is to get people to do the simplest job.
This attitude was besides criticized by Roman Dmowski in “The Thoughts of Modern Pole”. The creator of the Polish national thought writes: “Bearness... It loses us not only as a nation, but as individuals. Above all, we owe it to her that among us the phenomenon of pessimism, hopelessness, deficiency of religion in ourselves and in the ability to live in a better way is so common. You gotta know and realize the world, and you gotta make your own life according to your own requirements. The planet won't be as ugly then, and life on it as bad as we frequently think. It is only hard for the effeminate idlers and merciless for the incomprehensible spirit of time." We know how destructive and discouraging this is.
The 3rd step is to object wisely. “I see evil, and that raises my objection. He stands against him without looking at others.” It's due to this attitude that bandits go to jail and perverts don't have access to children. It is thanks to this attitude that licensed formation politicians are sometimes forced to admit to fraud and mass manipulation. This is simply a hard and unprofitable attitude. This attitude exposes us to conflicts and frequent confrontations. But it is from her that public morality and shaking of conscience and reason begin. It is necessary.
Finally, the 4th attitude – solidarity. “I see the good and join the fight for them. I see evil and stand beside those who argue it.” Polish work is to stand by the Polish people. frequently it is in contrast to those in power in the country. erstwhile many follow this rule, we are the winners. These attitudes should be a signpost for us.
Is this gonna work? I have no idea. However, 1 must fight wisely for sovereign Poland, the country of the Polish people. If we are destined to succeed, we will accomplish it with our own work and attitude. And if not, our work and attitude will be a model for those who will come for us. It's just as important. Dmowski wrote in “Polish politics and rebuilding the state” that: “It belongs to the full chain of generations, all those that were and will be. This is worth doing for those who will be after us.”
