Every action in politics should service primarily the good of the nation, as well as of the state. It should be considered whether the last statements by Mr Braun service the nation or, on the contrary, service the nation. A serious politician must calculate whether a message will be utilized for his people. This is the basis not only of the endek thinking, but besides of realistic and pro-state thinking. The politician must realize how his words can be utilized by the Adversary.
In my opinion, the head of the Confederation of the Polish Crown Grzegorz Braun made a mistake this time. For all average fan of the Polish political scene, the consequences of fresh statements by Euro MP Braun were obvious.
It was perfectly clear that practically no 1 would be in the modern planet of the media looking into the details of what he said. It was rather clear from the beginning that these words would be utilized by various anti-Polish forces to strike not so much in the associate of the European Parliament, but in Poles, our tradition and history.
However, I do not fishy Grzegorz Braun of being careless. He's an highly intelligent politician. Nor do I fishy him of wanting to harm Poland. He's an authentic Polish patriot. I am convinced that the words about the erstwhile German death camp were said to attract a critical to the Israeli electorate. We are all well aware that as a consequence of the unacceptable policy of this country by decent people, this electorate has been suffocating.
More crucial than the very content of Grzegorz Braun's statement, the foreseeable consequences of this message were. For him and the Confederation of the Polish Crown it was profitable. It strengthened the hard national-radical electorate and attracted any of Kamratia's supporters. For the Polish people, in my opinion, this was not beneficial, due to the fact that it was utilized and will be utilized repeatedly to hit the nation and delegate it unfulfilled wines and exaggerate negative episodes.
However, this should not be hysterical. The message of the manager of the “Smolensk bombing” is truly nothing compared to many lying and impertinently anti-Polish statements of many outraged people. due to the fact that the real revisionism is to repeat nonsense about the universal collaboration of our nation during planet War II.
He laughs to tears erstwhile he hears the sacred outrage of “the anti-Semitic leap of Braun” by those who pat on the back of shouting “The fame of Ukraine. Heroiam Fame’. In fact, it is disgusting to attribute anti-Semitism to Grzegorz Braun by people who have not had the courage to criticize the politics of the state for decades, who consider criminal flagism to be an crucial part of their historical tradition, and in the pantheon of their national heroes he has, for example, Stepan Bandere and Roman Szuchewych.
I hope that all politicians, journalists and commentators condemning Grzegorz Braun for alleged anti-Semitism or, in my opinion, not a very fortunate speech, will not give their hand to politicians accepting in their countries the names of streets, squares and monuments of criminals.
