I am very pleased due to the fact that it is better than in the plan - said PiS chief Jarosław Kaczyński, commenting on the results of the exit poll, according to which Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Law and Justice, obtained 29.1% of the votes. As he added, there will come specified a minute for talks with Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation) about support in the second circular of Nawrocki.
Jarosław Kaczyński, asked by journalists how to measure the consequence of Karol Nawrocki, replied: "I'm very pleased due to the fact that it's better than it was planned".
"Slightly 40 percent for government candidates, and even if you add Adrian Zandberg to this, it will inactive be a clear minority. The marshal said this is simply a yellow card for the coalition; this is simply a red card"- said Kaczyński, referring to the earlier message of the talker of the Sejm, candidate of the 3rd Way Simon Holownia.

The president of PiS asked whether he would personally appeal to the Confederate candidate to support Nawrocki in the second round, said: "I think it's time to talk, but it depends on both sides".
According to the exit poll, performed by Ipsos for TVP, TVN24 and Polsat News, candidate KO Rafał Trzaskowski obtained 30.8% of the votes and supported by the Law and Justice Karol Nawrocki 29.1%. These candidates will meet in the second circular of the presidential election, which will take place on 1 June.
