According to the nipponese Air Force Self-defence their machines in the first 4th of 2023 performed 238 emergency launches due to the approach of Chinese and Russian aircraft to nipponese airspace. 2 thirds of these activities were directed against Chinese aircraft, relaying the Office of Joint Staff of the nipponese Ministry of Defence.
