The Moscow Multipolarism Forum surely served Russia to show itself as the center of the emerging – after the fall of the United States – the world. The open question, however, remains whether the Kremlin truly had to effort to do something about it.
Unfortunately, in Poland, about this event, more or little (usually less) publicised “Russian onuc trackers”, giving evidence of their ignorance and de facto rusocentrism. What did it look like from a participant's perspective?
Understanding Your Own Interest
It is hard to put the thesis at all so that the Ukrainian conflict is any major subject of debate on the forum. It is adequate to say that people from Ukraine besides sit in the governing body of the event organizers, although they most likely “Ukrainians” in the sense that our neighbour present dominates, do not feel. If Ukraine was somewhere in the discussions, it was simply another of the free tools of the West. The fact of the ongoing armed conflict did not scare anyone especially, due to the fact that there were authentic people from around the planet – for most of them it was regular bread. Unfortunately.

There may be different reasons behind this. First: favorable to Moscow and Beijing, evidence trade, a side effect (?) of sanctions against Russia. The Chinese have cheaper and more, and they request infinite amounts. Second: the informal end of support for the “one China” policy in the West, which makes us presume that we are facing a clash of powers (presumably in the form of proxy) about Taiwan. possibly it has not started yet just due to the fact that there is inactive a war in Ukraine. In any case, what we besides hear from Chinese military, where the communicative is besides clearly "pro-Russian", is confirmed if we want to adapt to the nomenclature in force in Poland.
But there is besides a region stubbornly overlooked in the analysis, treated as inferior, which we inactive do not want to see, and which seems to be hitting the forehead of a multipolar world. It's Africa. With all its complexity. But I think she was all right. In the Kuluaras, I met people from Senegal, Guinea, South Africa, Egypt or Gabon. A typical of the young generation of the liberation movement of the French-speaking part of the continent spoke with a fiery speech: Kemi Seba. Besides, that's what distinguishes Africans in the forum: age. While most of the guests oscillated between the ages of 50 and 60, there were no shortages of black people my age. People who will most likely be elite in that part of the planet in a fewer years. And again: according to our "our" Russian-centric commentators, they are "pro-Russian", but for them their sympathy for Russia is first the brotherhood of arms from PKW Wagner, and secondly the acceptance of the burden of fighting the imperialist West, which Africa grabs all day in silence / approval of the "free world".
Black dream of a Polish Westerner?
However, I have not forgotten where I come from and I know that it is besides essential to feed those readers of “Polish Thoughts” who, without the detection of “cremlow influences” cannot drink morning coffee. Yes, on the forum as an honorary guest Alexander DuginOh, my God! That was 1 of the first words, but not precisely his style. The Russian philosopher did not talk about how the multipolar planet should look. No instruction about value, no treatment of guests with a sense of superiority. Dugin focused on criticism of the unified neoliberal capitalist planet under the Anglo-Saxon baton. He presented examples of his dominance in our regular lives and spoke to people from all regions of the world: take your destiny into your own hands and you decide by what values you want to live. Unfortunately, he did not complain about Poland, but during the meal I managed to greet him from those Poles who wished it.
Dugin, therefore, was treated more seriously by the Russians in any way than before, due to the fact that it was besides essential to give the organizers that the event had its rank. The announcement of a planned presence was long circulated Vladimir PutinFrom here, and safety measures were extraordinary. Eventually, the Minister of the SZ appeared instead, Sergei LavrovWho read the message from the leader. Almost all the time the forum was accompanied by a well-known spokeswoman, Maria Zacharovawho has given herself a certain disinvolvement by speaking to the guests “May we always talk to each other, ladies and gentlemen”. However, she behaved with large class and perseverance, talking and posing for pictures with people from all over the world, including me.
The Russians, at the heart of their message, made demands for the creation of further tools and institutions that would enable the multipolar planet to materialize. Konstantin Malofieev noted the software of smartphones and the request to make 1 that would be beyond the control of transnational corporations. However, the Applauz raised the announcement of Sergei Lavrov, who promised that an Intervention competition would be announced this year. Older viewers most likely remember it as a competition of the east Block against Eurovision. This time, however, the scale is to be larger, due to the fact that the full planet is already taking part in it – authentically, not declaratively. I draw attention to this not necessarily due to the fact that I am a pop fanatic, but the cultural dominance of the West is something unquestionable. metallic music is formed in Scandinavia, stone in the UK, and cinema hits and series in the United States. In fact, for the past 30 years, we have had no right to have any thought of another cultures, if we have not tried so hard.
Can Europe be saved?
I changed the title of the panel somewhat to the public, in which I decided to take part, in order to pass on the vote from Poland to the participants. We were to talk about whether something else could be saved from European civilization for future generations. I focused on the freedom of speech, which is said to belong to the same, presenting the fates of our environment and asking rhetorically whether we are able to set a permanent catalogue of "European values" on this example at all, or if they are all simply a product of long-term dominance, the same single-polar planet that goes to lame.
Representatives besides took part in this section from Western countries, but involuntaryly only confirmed that they did not realize the challenges facing Europe. The Spaniards were screaming ‘Viva Espana’, hoping to join Gibraltar and the Italians demanding their place in the Mediterranean. I guess with the unspoken "Putin help." Yeah, Westerners were beautiful infantile in their particularism. I myself was somewhat amazed to hear much more meaningful things from... Americans whose delegation consisted of representatives of various alternatives to establishment U.S. environment. I've exchanged notes respective times with an ex-CIA officer, Larry Johnson., in a sense agreeing with the fact that in the emerging planet the United States can already be 1 of the poles, but not a large ruler. Mr Johnson understood my proposition that taking pictures with him could defend me from repression in Poland for this trip.
But I don't want this brief relation to end in gloom. No, dear readers, for the word “Poland”, people from all over the planet are truly positive. Despite 30 years of stubborn demolition of our soft force by successive governments, we are alternatively positive. ‘I’m from Poland’ is “I have been priled from Poland”, opened up many very interesting contacts, especially among Africans. Even a young girl from Donetsk who had already left before peculiar Military Operations, who worked on the event, would gladly aid me evidence a video of my speech erstwhile I told you where I came from. So we have something to think about. I think this is the challenge for our generation: to think about how to find a favourable place for Poland in this emerging fresh world. Even if they call us “pro-Russian”.
