On Monday (10.04.2023) prof. Jan Grabowski (Abrahamer), who deals with spreading lies about the alleged co-responsibility of Poles for the Holocaust, published an article on the judaic portal.pl, in which he expresses outrage at the signing of the Polish-Israeli agreement restoring educational trips of Israeli youth to Poland. The agreement was concluded on 22 March 2023 and provides that:
- Meetings of peers from Poland and Israel will be an crucial component of the youth programme. Joint meetings are the best antidote to harmful and false associations on both sides;
- The programmes of visits of young Israelis to Poland did not focus solely on memorial sites connected with the past of the Holocaust. The program will besides include teaching about Polish history, almost a 1000 years of heritage of Polish Jews and equally long Polish-Jewish relations;
- The work to guarantee the safety of groups of young people – Israeli in Poland or Polish in Israel – will remainder on the host country. Armed safety will only be allowed in the host country with his permission.
The agreement so upset Grabowski that he wrote an article entitled "Another Negative Victory". What is this negationism to do? On the fact that young Jews will visit the Museum of Poles saving Ulmów Jews in Markowa, 2 Museums of Cursed Soldiers, the Mausoleum of Martyrology of Polish Villages and the Museum of Memory of the Residents of the Oświęcim Land.
– This is another triumph of the negationists, those who are incapable to realize that, to any extent, their own nation took part in the genocide designed and executed by the Germans. It is possible to sympathize with young Israelis, who will experience a dull propaganda of historical Polish nationalists. The question remains why the Israeli authorities agreed to this shameful dictatorship. Why did Netanyahu and his men decide to betray the memory of six million murdered Jews? Is this about Poland's vote in the UN? Is it Polish support for Israel in the bosom of European organisations? It's hard to say, but it's a disgusting marketplace that each of us should leave with a deep taste – writes Grabowski.
What charges does Grabowski have for the Markowa museum? – It is there that the young Israelis will learn that Poles were supposedly devoted to saving Jews during the occupation. However, they will not know that in Markowa itself, where the museum stands, the local population has “finally solved the judaic issue” with their own hands, without direct German participation! – Grabowski is angry.
What Grabowski is writing about is another anti-Polish lie which he procured on the basis of the judaic relations sucked out of his fingers, which have already been exposed and deposed. In 2016, Dr. Mateusz Szpytma, co-author of the exhibition in the Markowa Museum, responded to a lying article by Jan Grabowski and Dariusz Libionka published in “Gazeta Wyborcza”, in which they attacked the Ulmów Museum.
– Much of the papers mentioned by Grabowski and Libionka contain incorrect information. Why should I quote on the exhibition Moshe Weltsch's account of the mass grave in Markowa, where "there are over 200 Jews from all over the area who were shot by Poles all this time" if the exhumation showed that there were 34 bodies there. From another reliable sources we know that it was not Poles who shot them, but German gendarmes. Why quote Jehuda Ehrlich’s account that “the next day [after the Ulms died] 24 bodies of Jews were found in the fields. They were murdered by the peasants themselves – peasants who hid them within [the previous] 20 months”, if we know and compose about it, that after the crime on the Ulm household not only did not execution Jews, but they were inactive hidden (21 survived in Markowa until the end of the German occupation). (...) The only case known to me was the execution of a hebrew by a Markov resident who hid him (he did it in 1943 or early 1944, erstwhile the hiding Israeli Tohym lost his head and started walking in the village, telling him who was helping him), he is clearly exposed on display – writes Szpytma in the article entitled “Whose roads are these? – the answer of the vice president of the IPN to the text “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
This is what Grabowski's “reliability” looks like, which does not care about the truth, but about telling the planet that Poles murdered Jews. Therefore, in an article published on Jewish.pl he repeats false information about the inhabitants of Markowa, and about the Cursed Soldiers he writes that “they fought with equal will against communists and defenseless judaic children.” The visit of young Jews to the Mausoleum of Martyrology of Polish Villages offends him due to the fact that “a mass execution occurred on Polish Jews in the Polish countryside.” On the another hand, the Museum of Memory of the Residents of the Auschwitz Land was "invented by erstwhile Prime Minister Beata Szydło as a "counterweight" for the Auschwitz Museum".
Grabowski's anti-Polish obsession pours out of his articles, books and statements. And yet he is the boy of a hebrew saved by Poles. Why is it so much hate?
