Legal basis
Resignation rules § 6 of the Decree of the Minister of Education of 7 April 2025. on the way of school teaching and the scope of content on cognition about human sexual life (Journal of Laws of 2025 item 467).
Under that provision:
- student underage does not participate in classes if his parents study to the school chief in the form of written resignation from the student's participation in classes,
- student adult does not take part in classes if alone notify the school head in writing of his resignation from his participation,
- resignation consists of by 25 September the school year concerned.
The subject is not subject to evaluation and does not affect the promotion or completion of the school.
Who and until erstwhile can resign
Who submits:
- for a minor, decide and sign parent (legal guardian),
- student adult make his own statement.
Until: au 25 September the school year concerned. Declarations made after that date shall be unsuccessful in the year in question.
To whom: au Headmaster. Lawyers of Ordo Iuris point out that the school must not require only a class teacher to resign, to request his own printing, or to make his writing subject to attendance at the parents' meeting. Just a simple handwriting.
Step by step
1. Make a written statement. It doesn't should be the school form. Just a simple paper with the data we give below.
2. Address them to the school principal, not to the educator.
3. Put them together by 25 September. Don't wait till the last day.
4. Choose a form of service: personally at the Registry (please confirm on a copy with date and stamp), by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by electronic means if the school runs specified a channel.
5. Keep proof of deposit (copy with presentation of the secretariat, recommended assignment, email confirmation).

After effective resignation, the kid does not participate in wellness education. The school should supply the student with care at the time if classes fall out in the mediate of the lesson plan.
