While the landing in Hostomell is known and has not yielded the expected results, the 2 landings on the Dnieper had a greater impact – by the Antonowski Bridge occupied by the landing retreating from the south bank Dniepru Ukrainian forces had to penetrate into battle, while the dam and at the same time the crossing through Dniepr in Nowa Kachowce were seized without resistance. The alleged parachute landing in Vasilkov did not truly take place – the study of the shooting down of 2 Il-76 transport aircraft was not confirmed, and the base in Vasilkov itself was attacked by reconnaissance and diversion groups most likely blown up in the area from helicopters.
