How to effectively halt illegal migration?

Deputy Head of the Ministry of the Interior and Administration Maciej Duszczyk, responding to the Ombudsman's letter on the return of illegal migrants to the border (i.e. pushbacks – ed.) reported that the ministry was working on amending the regulation** on this issue. He added that the work must "go to make regulations that will enable effective action in the field of border protection, but at the same time let an assessment of the individual situation of each migrant who has been in Poland". For this reason, the Ministry of abroad Affairs** plans to require the Border defender to appoint search and rescue groups in the troops at the border with Belarus**, which will prevent humanitarian crises that have been noted by activists so far. At the same time, the deputy chief of the Ministry of abroad Affairs stated that safety is simply a priority, but with "elements of humanitarianism" and so "pushbacks" will proceed to be implemented. He so confirmed that until the illegal way through Poland is closed, they will be applied.
