This was a plan for long-term economical development, in which the primary function was played and inactive met by the chaeboles – large household conglomerates. Thus, a characteristic South Korean kind of economy was created, which despite political fluctuations, as the transformation from the authoritarian strategy to democracy (the breakthrough of 1980-90) survived to modern times. Despite the shrinking employment of conglomerates, their impact on the economy and the country's policy is becoming increasingly strong, creating an highly strong group of force on political authorities.
