The times in which almost all title was published aroused public debate, revived literary criticism, inspired reasoning and remained in memory. erstwhile romanticism ran out and positivism began, heroism ended, and the cult of discipline began, the key social roles began to be played by professors. 3 groups of scholars developed: (a) treating politics as dirt; (b) announcing subjective interpretations of phenomena and (c) professors involved. The last group includes professors: Ryszard Legutko, philosopher and Euro MP, and Andrzej Nowak, historian and publicist. Both from the Jagiellonian University.
They both shined on a political firmament recently. The first, acting organization in the Euro-Parliament, was stripped of them by the written political office and announced their withdrawal from politics. Kaczyński's acquaintance with the translator Plato and expert on Socrates nobilitated, giving his rough, soliborous nature a noble flash. At the will of Kaczyński Legutko, he led written Euro MPs, although he had to be aware, and wrote about it in his excellent “Socrates” that he, a scholar, “practicing politics, is making a mistake”. As a recognized scientist, he had the right to believe that “a righteous man will not only live in good memory of future generations but will besides receive a reward in the afterlife.”
