Trenin opens his text with a reminder of the strategical principle: **“In war, 1 must think of the organization of peace”**. Although the conflict in Ukraine continues, the author believes that Russia should be considering how to form the post-war order. He stresses that Ukraine ceased to be within its 1991 borders. Part of its territories, including Crimea, Donbas – was incorporated into the Russian Federation (illegally -the editorial inscription), and another regions may follow in their footsteps in the future.
