The analysis of OSINT in the Infosphere shows that Israeli bombings at Tartus were close to Russian installations, but there is no confirmation yet that they touched them. Bombardment was defined as ‘under Tartus’ hitting the ‘aircraft defence base’. OSDH estimated that these were the “heaviest attacks” in the area for over a decade. Tartus is inhabited by the Alawicka population, from which the clan of the overthrown Syrian president Bashar al-Assad originated. "Israeli combat aircraft have conducted raids" on a number of facilities, including air defence units and "earth-to-earth rocket compositions" - said OSDH.
