In December last year, the last calendar cycle of the Bundestag budget committee approved the acquisition of 5 Israeli PULS launchers for €65 million. Ammunition will be obtained as part of a separate procedure. Now the Israeli arms company Elbit Systems has announced that they have received an order for the said construction (with an adjustment to the EuroPULS variant), for which Germany will pay around USD 57 million (nearly EUR 55 million). This is likely to mean a simplification in part of equipment purchased or a better contract by the German side.
