The Malian military junta yet released 46 detainees inactive in the summertime of last year's Ivorians. More specifically, according to the authoritative position of the current rulers in Mali, military leader Assimi Goita pardoned all convicts. They were part of a contingent of UN missions and were detained in Bamako on 10 July 2022. Their arrest and conviction sparked a wave of global protests, as well as in Africa itself.
