Niger, 1 of the poorest countries in the world, is another country extending from the Atlantic to the Red Sahel in Africa, in which a coup took place. "Niger – writes press in Abuja – cannot become Vietnam of Nigeria". But would it be better if it became, like most Sahel, another fallen state?
