Italian manufacture with contract for 6th generation aircraft

The consortium of Italian companies signed a contract for the next improvement phase of the "sixth generation air system". The aim is to enable Italian operators to scope a method level that will let them to make a real contribution to the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), a follow-up to Tempest.
