Rafał Trzaskowski wins in cities, Karol Nawrocki in the countryside – this is the consequence of an exit poll conducted by Ipsos for TVP, TVN24 and Polsat News. The support of the 3rd in the 1st circular of the Sławomir Mentzen presidential election in various centres varies.


On Sunday 18 May at 21:00, the polling stations were closed. The exit poll shows that I circular of presidential elections was won by Rafał Trzaskowski with a score of 30.8%. The second is Karol Nawrocki – with 29.1 percent support. And it is these 2 candidates that will face in the 2nd circular on 1 June.

Among another things, Ipsos's laboratory examined the vote in cities and villages. There are clear differences in voters' preferences.

Results of the 2025 exit poll presidential election: so the cities and villages voted

Nawrocki achieved the best consequence among the villagers, which according to exit poll results earned 37.2 percent of the vote. The second was Rafał Trzaskowski – with a consequence of 21.4%, and the 3rd in the election Sławomir Mentzen received 18.5% support.

Trzaskowski, in turn, won among the inhabitants of the largest cities (more than 500 thousand) According to the poll, he won 40.1% of the vote there. In cities with between 200 and 500 000 inhabitants, the candidate received 42.2 percent support, while in cities with between 50 and 200 000 inhabitants, 37.4%. In the smallest cities, up to 50,000 inhabitants, the current president of Warsaw won 33.6 percent of the vote.

In the largest cities (over 500,000 inhabitants) Nawrocki won 17.2% of the votes, in cities between 200 and 500 000 inhabitants – 18.3%, in cities between 50 and 200 000 won 23.4% and in the smallest cities – up to 50 000 inhabitants – 29 percent.

Mentzen besides enjoyed considerable support. In the largest cities it gained 11.4 percent, in cities between 200 and 500 000 inhabitants – 12%, while in cities between 50 and 200 000 inhabitants gained 14 percent support. In the smallest cities, the Confederate candidate won 14.4% of the vote.
