Israel will not accept any changes to the proposal for a ceasefire. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanjahu declared Hamas' offer unacceptable. At the same time, the head of government confirmed that Israel would send a delegation to Qatar to discuss a possible hostage agreement in the Gaza Strip.
