Iskander 1000 – Kremlin's propaganda consequence to Ukrainian F-16 [COMMENTARY]

Now, something everyone knew is expected to compensate a grey Russian for something that nobody expected in Russia a year ago. It has been known for a long time that the scope of 400-500 km declared by the Russians in relation to 9M720 ballistic missiles of the Iskander system, [to say colloquially, ‘stitch’](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/iskanders-outside-control-cross-declared-range). It is very hard to make a rocket that would precisely fall within the limitations of the INF Treaty (Treaty on Intermediate-range atomic Forces), which is the arrangement concluded in 1987 between the United States and the russian Union with the full elimination of land-fired mid-range missiles (range 500 to 5500 km).
