The outbreak of fights between Armenia and Azerbaijan and clashes on the Kyrgyz-Tajyk border show that on the outskirts of the erstwhile ZSRS the position of Russia as a force maintaining the post-Soviet order is weakening - says PAP Krzysztof Strachota, expert of the Center for east Studies.
