In a motion passed at Tuesday's meeting, the CDU/CSU parliamentary group calls on Germany's government to “temporarily extend the checks taking place at the German-Austrian border to interior borders with Poland, the Czech Republic and Switzerland as long as the unduly advanced number of illegal entries persists.”
