Irregularities in Clean Air. Zandberg demands an explanation

Adrian Zandberg and Marcelina Zawisza were not allowed for parliamentary control to the National Environment Fund. organization leader Together called on Simon Holovnia to react, identifying the full situation as scandalous.

The Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, to whom Zandberg directed his remarks, stressed that over the last year various institutions have repeatedly denied politicians access to data if they want to carry out parliamentary checks. The Holovnia announced that it would send a letter to the NFOŚiGW asking for clarification.

The first reports of fraud in Clean Air appeared in December from the NFOŚiGW. At the time, there were about six 1000 applications for grants which could be utilized to extort up to PLN 600 million.

It should be recalled that in November of this year the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management stopped the adoption of fresh proposals under the Clean Air Programme. This was explained by the request to improvement the programme and seal the system, which "cannot be implemented continuously". Shortly after this, in early December, the NFOŚiGW announced that "the fresh programme would return on March 31, 2025".
