Reuter Agency reports the first retaliatory strikes by Iran, which fired missiles towards American bases in Qatar.
According to Axios and Reuters agencies, Iran launched six missiles on Monday towards US military bases in Qatar. There may besides have been Iranian bombings in Iraq, where a rocket defence strategy was launched in Ain al-Assad, according to media reports.
This is confirmed by reports from the Iranian news agency Tasnim that the Persian armed forces have launched Operation “The triumph Announcement” aimed at US military bases both in Qatar and Iraq.
It is not known if any of the rockets were able to penetrate the umbrella of American air defense. The Qatari Ministry of Defence provided information on the interception of all missiles that were heading for American installations.
After the bombings began, the Iranian muslim Revolutionary defender Corps issued a peculiar message, which was published by the state tv IRIB.
"After the overt military aggression of the U.S. against peaceful Iranian atomic facilities, Iran's muslim Revolutionary defender Corps in connection with Operation >>The triumph announcement, carried out destructive and powerful rocket attacks on the U.S. Al Udeid base," the corps passed.
The Qataris denied this information claiming that rocket raids did not origin any harm or damage.
