Laude wants to be a creator of the intermodal market, not just its participant. The company is on the eve of the implementation of a large investment plan, the value of which will exceed PLN billion. These are not only new, multi-system locomotives and wagons, but besides completely unknown technologies on the market, which will let to transport cargo at competitive prices and times. Especially in transports linking Ukraine to Poland and further to Germany and the Netherlands.

W In the first 4th of 2025, EU exports to Ukraine increased by 17.9% compared to the erstwhile quarter. The EU trade surplus with Ukraine amounted to EUR 5.8 billion. The largest groups of products exported to Ukraine were fuel, electrical machinery, vehicles, machinery and pharmaceutical products. Ukraine accounts for 5% of steel and iron imported into the EU and about 12% of imported wood. Soybean oil already accounts for 45% and sunflower oil – as much as 94% of all EU imports[1].

At the moment, practically all transport is carried out as a ‘smart intermodal’, i.e. full train services for 1 customer. This year the company starts implementing a fresh solution – "time for revolution", in which 1 client is even 1 container, and transports will be based on regular connections. – The years 2025–2026 will be temporary for us, while in 2027 we want to offer access to specified a service to all our customers and run specified combined trains to virtually all of Europe – says president Witczak.

Terminals will besides be key
