Although ECOWAS has stated that it has appointed D-day to intervene in Niger, it is inactive uncertain if it will happen. As the junta rejects the anticipation of any concessions, if no intervention occurs, it will become a complete embarrassment to ECOWAS and it will be expected to further destabilise Africa and increase Russian influence.**
