The fresh radar is called Virupaksza and, according to reports from Indian media, is to belong to a fresh generation of technology radars with an active electronically scanned antenna array (AESA). The device is designed to have 2,400 broadcasting and receiving modules and is designed to dramatically increase the capabilities of the most crucial Indian combat aircraft.
