India buys British anti-aircraft systems

This contract was concluded at the Indian Aero India 2025 fair in mid-February. It follows [signed in 2021](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/India-manufacturing-British-anti-aircraft system) a cooperation agreement between Thales UK and Bharat Dynamics Limited concerning cooperation in the production of the above-mentioned Starstreak anti-aircraft system. It assumed that 60% of its production would be located in the Indian industry, now officially confirmed. In Thales's communication, this plan is referred to as the Very Short scope Air Defence strategy utilizing HVM missiles with a scope of up to 5.5 km to destruct air purposes.
