Incumbent president wins, his rival wants recount

Incumbent president Daniel Noboa has won the second circular of Ecuador's presidential election, the country's national electoral commission said on Wednesday. Reuters reported that he easy defeated his leftist rival, Luisa Gonzalez, who said she did not admit the results and demanded a recount.
