At the same time, it is simply a time of lying historical propaganda. The war consumed millions of people. Poland fighting the 3rd Reich from the first to the last day, on the fronts of the full world, as the only independency did not regain. After the German business there was a russian occupation. The Soviet, the liberator, brought us rapes, murders and robberies, and the russian business was bloody and ruthless. The Soviets during and after the war murdered Poles in the passive attitude of the USA and large Britain.
Russia became a contributor to the outbreak of planet War II and attacking Poland on 17 September 1939. The russian Union became Hitler's main ally and greatly facilitated Germany's first war success. The criminal function of the Soviets from the first phase of the war, symbolized by Katyń, is disappearing somewhere. They disappear: the capture of half of pre-war Poland, the enslavement of the Baltic States, hundreds of thousands of victims of installation in occupied areas of the communist system. The peoples of Central and east Europe were formally included in the winners' camp, but this Victoria did not bring them freedom. The camps from which the prisoners of the German occupier came out shortly filled up again. but there were Soviets or native communists in the watchtowers. The Soviets of Europe did not save, but brought her half-century totalitarianism.
On May 8, 1945, there was an unconditional surrender of the 3rd Reich. On 7 May at 2.41 a.m. before representatives of the U.S. Army, the British Commonwealth and the Red Army. On behalf of the Allies, under the act of surrender, later named ,,the first surrender protocol’, General Walter Bedell Smith signed a typical of the Chief Commander of the Expeditionary Army, General Eisenhower, and the Ivan Susłoparov artillery gene representing the highest russian command.
On the German side, they signed Gen. Alfred Jodl, Chief of Staff of Wehrmacht Command at the Wehrmacht Chief Command, representing all the armed forces and ground troops, Gen. Wilhelm Oxenius, typical of the Luftwaffe Chief Commander, and Adm. Hans-Georg von Friedeburg, Chief Commander of Kriegsmarine.
The German delegation acted under the authority of the Chief Commander of the Wehrmacht, alk., Karl Dönitz. It is worth noting that the French flag was not displayed at the time and the French general François Sevez was invited at the last minute – the host typical was a witness, not a party. The act of surrender referred to the cessation of armed forces by all ground, sea and air forces under German command on 8 May at 23.01 CET.
On the categorical request of Stalin on 8 May (this was late in the evening, according to Moscow time it was already on 9 May) in the office of Marshal Żuków, in the bomb school building in the Karlshorst territory of Berlin, the signing of the unconditional surrender of the Wehrmacht and another 3rd Reich armed forces was repeated. With the addition that surrendering troops give their arms to local coalition commanders, before representatives of the 3 Allied powers—the USSR, the US and the United Kingdom. There were: General Carl Spaatz (USA), British Air Marshal Arthur Tedder and Marshal Georgij Zukov. General Charles de Gaulle sent General Jean de Lattre de Tassigny to celebrate Berlin. He threatened to kill himself if he was denied the right to sign the paper and put up the French flag.
And signing the act of surrender of the Wehrmacht on behalf of the victorious German field marshal Wilhelm Keitel commented on the presence of de Tassigny in specified a way that he should sign on both sides – making and receiving the surrender. Finally, after the protocolical shuffle, the place for the flag and signature (on the side accepting the surrender, but besides as a witness) came.
In addition to Keitel, Chief of the Chief Command of the Wehrmacht and Chief Commander of the Land Army, the surrender was signed by Chief Commander of the Navy (Kriegsmarine) Admiral Hans-Georg von Friedeburg and General Colonel of Aviation (Luftwaffe) Hans-Jürgen Stumpff, as typical of the Chief Commander of the Air Force, General Felmarsz von Greim. besides at the ,, second” surrender of the German delegates, before they signed, they submitted to the Allies the power of lawyer received from the Chief Commander of the Wehrmacht, General Karl Denitz. The course of the Wehrmacht surrender process has had a major impact on planet policy over the next decades. France gained the position of the 4th power, received its business region in Germany and a permanent seat in the UN safety Council.
And in 2005 the image of a French soldier, next to a Soviet, American and British on a Moscow monument on the Bowing Mountain on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the end of the war. A little crucial result, however, is that the ceremony in Berlin was besides held due to misunderstandings around the individual de Tassigny, only late on the evening of May 8. This was the reason that for the next 40 years the Western planet celebrated the anniversary of the end of the war with Nazi Germany on 8 May, and the USSR and the state of the socialist bloc, including the PRL– 9 May, as the ceremony took place after midnight Moscow time.
.
Never more war.
Unfortunately, there are inactive wars around the world. Since 1945, more than 160 wars have erupted in the world. They consumed about 16 million people. But millions of people besides endure poorness and hunger due to them. Bloody conflicts of fresh decades: War in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq, Libya and Sudan. Even earlier in Ethiopia, Eritrea and Somalia. The last decades have brought genocide in Rwanda, 2 Gulf wars, 2 Chechnya wars and a violent conflict in the erstwhile Yugoslavia. And now in Ukraine.
