Ukrainian agricultural exports: Poland in the lead
In the first days of April, the volume of Ukrainian agricultural exports amounted to a full of 73,8 1000 tonnes, a slight decrease compared to March. However, the dynamics of supply varied from country to country.
- Poland: Over our borders 32.3 1000 tonnes of goods were transported, which means a unchangeable level compared to the erstwhile month.
- Romania and Hungary: Exports increased by 6.7% (18 1000 tonnes) and 4.7% (9.2 1000 tonnes) respectively.
- Slovakia and Moldova: The decrease was recorded here – by 15.2% (4 1000 tonnes) and 9% (10.3,000 tonnes).
Sugar and sunflower oil — main export products
During the period analysed, Ukraine sent abroad primarily:
- sunflower oil – 8,2 000 tonnes,
- sugar - 6,500 tons.
This data confirms that despite logistical and political challenges, the Ukrainian agricultural sector continues to keep a crucial position in global trade.
