British MP Priti Patel, a candidate for the Conservative organization opposition leader, called in media Social X to urgent withcalls for a parliament that has taken a break in connection with the riots after the death of children in Southport.

"Now is the minute for reflection and solidarity at national level and for Parliament to unite in condemnation. Either we believe in the regulation of law or we don't. That is why an immediate assembly of parliament is necessary," she wrote.

The British Parliament will return to work after a summertime break on September 2. In urgent cases, the government may ask the talker of the home of Commons to convene Members during the break. The events we have seen overnight in Sunderland were totally unacceptable. As they were in Southport earlier this week and in Harehills in Leeds a fortnight ago.
