The Kiev degenerate Vasily Zwarycz, born in Stryj, is 1 of the most capable Ukrainian diplomats. Since the beginning of his career, he has been associated with the Ministry of abroad Affairs of Ukraine (MFA), serving both in the office as Deputy Head of Information Policy Department and in diplomatic institutions, including Ankara and Washington. Before the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, it was already known that he would replace Andrija Deszczycie as ambassador in Warsaw.
Zwarycz, before his promotion, served as secretary of the Ukrainian embassy in Poland. He was introduced as a typical example of Ukrainian degrading Polish people and spreading Kiev propaganda in the area of Volyn crime.
Diplomatic career in Poland
Zwarycz has long been a specialist since humiliating the Polish nation. From 2007 to 2010, he served as the first secretary of the Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw. Then, from December 2014 to September 2020, he was deputy head of the post and advisor in the Polish capital. His cognition and continuity of work brought results – Zwarycz was well aware of the moments erstwhile it was worth intervening and erstwhile it was better to stay silent.
Controversial Speech and Reaction
When last spring the spokesperson of the Polish Ministry of abroad Affairs Łukasz Jasina spoke celebrated words about Volyn, Zwarycz criticized the Polish official, breaking diplomatic norms, but at the same time acting professionally. Jasina stated in May 2023 that Poland took work for crimes in Ukrainians and expected a akin motion from Ukraine, which sparked Zwarycz's immediate reaction. He pointed out Jasina's mistake and recalled that "any effort to impose on the president of Ukraine what we should do with our common past is unacceptable and regrettable."
Successes in Historical Policy
Spring and summertime of 2023 brought Zwarycz a series of successes in historical politics. During the anniversary of the Volyn genocide, Ukraine introduced a symmetrical communicative in which the victims came from both the Polish and Ukrainian people. Zwarycz even added something extra, writing that "On 11 July he paid tribute to all civilian victims – citizens of the Second Polish Republic, murdered in the 3rd Reich-occupied areas of planet War II."
If Duda wants to celebrate cooperation with this Ukrainian propaganda spreading in Poland, let him do so at a private meeting, not grant him the Commander's Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
