During a fresh presidential debate on TV, the Republic of Poland has changed the name and surname of "Donald Tusk" so many times that those who are not curious in politics could consider that it is the head of government who wants to become president of Poland. On Sunday at Karol Nawrocki's convention in Łódź it was similar.
The Prime Minister and the full government criticized both Jarosław Kaczyński and Andrzej Duda (who broke the given word earlier and joined the presidential campaign). Nawrocki besides went along the same line.
That's the plan the PiS has for the presidential election.
At the outset, however, he thanked Duda. – Our gathering present is peculiar to me, due to the fact that present I was supported by president Andrzej Duda. The man who followed the same way in 2015 that I am going to my triumph today. The man who helped me so much in the election campaign, sharing his experiences," said Nawrocka.
And he called Duda "one of the last strongholds of our safety, common sense, normality in our country, in the state of Donald Tusk, which present is nothing but a growling democracy, and the president is the last stronghold of state and normality."
There was more to the alusion and criticism of the head of government. – If Donald Tusk's strategy is closed and Rafał Trzaskowski is installed in the Presidential Palace, then it will be the end of Poland as we know it – the PiS candidate thundered.
He besides threatened migrants (like the PiS did before parliamentary elections). He said that "his" Poland would not have "illegal migrants" that alternatively of integration centres, there would be deportation centres.
– I don't want the truck going into those at the Christmas fair. I do not want an illegal migrant to fly with a knife in a playground where children play," he said. "A terrible alternate is to accelerate the migration pact. For me it is crucial to be safe, not to be praised in Berlin or Brussels," he said.
He said about the premiere this way: – The directors of national amnesia, those who want to take us past and memory, we will not let it, due to the fact that there is our greatness. Our ambitions, our values. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, you will not take our past and we will enter the future bravely due to the fact that we know who we are.
And so: – In the election on May 18th, the production of a political laboratory will collide, with briefs composed of submitted polls, and for Donald Tusk established Rafał Trzaskowski, and against him will be a man of blood and bones, of Poles elected and for Poles established.
Nawrocki besides attacked mostly ruling (mainly PO politicians).
– Ladies and gentlemen, are you truly prepared to give back the safety of the Polish state, the environment that eliminated 600 military units erstwhile they ruled earlier? Are you truly prepared to give the safety of the Polish state to those who put their defence lines on the Vistula, saying that there is no east Poland and we will not defend it? This is the alternate of May 18. Poland is safe or Poland is in danger – he said.

The Law and Justice wants to make a presidential referendum anti-government

In my opinion, Nawrocki's staff has been counting on this to be a "referendum" from the minute it came out that they chose the incorrect candidate, who is incapable to convince even all PiS supporters," he added.
