"I anticipate you to respect the law." Chief of Staff Holownia writes to the manager General of TVP on the debate

"In view of the information about the debate planned for 11 April this year by TVP S.A. with the participation of 2 candidates: Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki [...] I ask the president to invitation another registered candidates to the debate" - wrote Jacek Cichocki in a letter to Tomasz Sygut, director-general of TVP.


"Organising the debate only with elected candidates for president is simply a gross violation of Article 127(1) of the Polish Constitution and Article 287 of the Electoral Code [...]. I anticipate you to respect the law and not violate the rules of the election" - continued the chief of staff of Simon Holown in the remainder of the letter.
