The possible debate between Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki became a subject on Thursday an ongoing presidential campaign.

“I am profoundly disgusted”

At the same time, he stressed that private stations could organise their debates by inviting the candidates they wanted. - But I'm outraged by the fact that we're in the mediate of this public tv party, which has a dog's duty, to organize a debate for all candidates. He stressed.
– Even if we presume that the first 2 candidates have about 55 percent support in the polls, almost half of Poles want to vote for individual else and they will not be represented in this debate. So why do we deprive citizens of proceeding their candidates? – Zgorzelski asked.
“Maybe the counter-candidates are afraid of Simon Holownia”
The Deputy Marshal of the Sejm recalled that the candidate of the 3rd Way, Simon Holovnia is good at this kind of clash. “I wonder if this is not a fear of his fitness in terms of participation in tv debates,” he said.
– possibly his opponents are a small scared, and I think they have something to say," he added.
– So I ask representatives of the Polish media not to choice and stigmatize any candidates, and on the another hand, not to give forums to those already favored by the polls – he appealed.
Zgorzelski asked what the debate between the 2 main presidential candidates was about, stated that "what politics has been doing for nearly 20 years". – That is polarizing the 2 political camps of our stage, between the PiS and the PO. (...) The same mechanics they want to apply in this case," he added.
– If they are so certain that their candidates will take first and second places, it will be possible for them to meet in the debate before the second circular – he recalled.
– If you think you are representatives of democratic parties, give opportunities to another candidates too," he said.

The Marshal of the Sejm besides quoted the poem by Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński: “When wind blows, history, people like beautiful birds grow wings, while the pants of the loops shake,” and dedicated it to all those who “are trying to prevent the debate of another candidates.”
– I dedicate these words to those who want to limit the chance for candidates to debate," he said.
– People are tired of this constant duality, polarization, generating hatred among themselves. I am convinced that if Simon Holovnia had been in the first 2 polls, he would never have allowed another candidates to be eliminated. They have the same right to participate in this debate," he added.
When asked if Szymon Hołownia would appear in Koński on Friday, where the debate between Trzaskowski and Nawrocki would take place, he said that "Simon may appear". However, he pointed out that he had not talked to him about it.
