 Forgetting that voters request to be asked to vote. Going for his own. Treating voters “with a shoe”- and with a shoe. I see this mistake in all parties. In many candidates of each party.

 By underestimating the competition. Especially erstwhile young, inexperienced. Or, on the contrary, competition holding the office of mayor, mayor, city president respective decades ago. After all – from something this acceptance comes.

 Overestimating the media. reasoning that local deals with the regional television, radio, paper paper and local weekly give victory. They haven't given in a fewer years.

 Underestimating the strength of local systems, the social tissue that has grown in the city for decades. Yes, we deficiency the aristocracy of reason, but the local elite is formed: the priest, the head of the Labour Office, the advanced school principal, the gynecologist, an active social kindergarten... Yes, I know a town where the mayor who has served for respective decades has been defeated by a kindergarten teacher. All the remainder of them have had adequate of the old deal.

 Overestimating the power of good opinion that should follow the city's ruler. The candidate for city president may have been arrested, could have spent respective months in prison, corruption charges were and are inactive serious, and yet people vote for him. It's his. I inactive don't realize the phenomenon of this town.

 Disgusting. Both in the behaviour towards voters and the deficiency of care in all prepared materials. Voters always want to be taken seriously, with large culture.

 Overestimating the importance of fresh media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram... Yes, nice, cool, shortening the way to opinion leaders (especially Twitter), but not replacing work all day, in all district...

 Forgetting the good story. I frequently ask a candidate for president of the city or mayor for his story. He's serving me a password. No, I'm not curious in the password. Why would I vote for him?

 Just waking up at the last minute. Not utilizing an earlier EP run to show up. Not building yourself in fresh years. By believing in the power of billboards. The power of money that can be bribed, bought, thrown in the city with tons of flyers and covered with posters.

 No strategy. A good strategy takes into account local specificities, strong points of counter-candidates, eats “black PR” (in Polish realities this means all the weak points of competition), makes the candidate win all battles in the media and public places.
