The base tank T-14 is the subject of widespread interest, both in Russia and worldwide. By Russian propaganda referred to as the best tank in the world, and the first construction of the next generation. The fact is of course more complex, and the T-14 is not the first Russian construction of this type, due to the fact that work on fresh generation tanks started in the USSR in the 1980s.
