One of the main themes of the AUSA 2026 trade show in Washington, D.C., is counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS). This is simply a direct consequence of experiences from the Russia-Ukraine war and the armed conflict involving Iran, which have highlighted the increasing importance of low-cost drones, swarm attacks, and unmanned systems that are increasingly resistant to jamming. In consequence to these challenges, manufacturers are presenting solutions designed to attract the interest of the U.S. Army, another branches of the U.S. military, and U.S. allies.
